In Part 1 of our story, a book signing went horribly awry, Olivia saved Uncle Colin from a witch hellbent on vengeance and poor bookstore employee Byron got caught in the crossfire and ended up turned into a frog.
So what do you do with a bookstore employee-turned-frog? Find out in Part 2 of “Welcome to Wolfsbane.”
We’re finally on our way! We’ve just finished the first installment of our “Welcome to Wolfsbane” story arc, which will find Olivia and Uncle Colin dealing with hipster witches, supernatural gentrification and, of course, an unspeakable monstrosity from another dimension.
But first, our heroes have to confront an unruly fan at a book signing.

Well, this just made our day. Artist and friend of OD Mike Rosen knocked it out of the park with this tribute to those old paperback horror novels that always turn up in garage sales or end up in boxes in your parents’ basement.
Hey all, your friendly artist here, Jen! I took Olivia Dark to the Alternative Press Expo in San Jose to introduce her to the comic book-reading public. I shared a booth with my friends Tim Heiderich and Mike Rosen of Misunderstanding Comics fame!
We talked to lots of cool people and gave out a ton of promo postcards!
Also, the next issue of Olivia Dark will be up on Halloween. That’s right, a spooky new issue in time for the holiday! Stay tuned!
Sorry for the radio silence. Yup, we’re still here, still working on OD #01.
Plans have changed slightly — instead of the issue being a stand-alone tale, it’s going to be the first installment of a six-part story arc. It took a little time to work out the larger story, but now that we’ve finally got that locked down, things should roll a little more quickly.
#01 should be ready by early October.
